Our conference makes the most of this ideal island setting, in a retreat format that balances meditation practice, nature encounter and community building, for a week of insight, growth and renewal. </p> <p> We will spend each morning together in silence, following a formal schedule of sitting and walking meditation sessions. Afternoon will be devoted to solitary nature-contemplation and free time. Evening will be a social time for some, while others may opt to remain silent. We will end the day with a candlelight chapel service and a return to silent contemplation. </p> <p> This retreat is suitable for beginning to experienced meditators, from a variety of traditions and faith backgrounds.
